"For years I had a Contractors Policy. In 2023 (For the first time ever) I was told I had to fill out an audit form. I went to the office and explained that since no "Certificates of Insurance" were issued to any clients no liability was exposed to State Farm. They agreed and said I was all set. Fast forward to August 2024 I'm getting calls from a Law Firm and State Farm says I owe them $319.67 Absolutely ridiculous. I was already paying $600/year and now they want more $$$ because their audit is asking for it. The initial premium of $50/month is based on an estimate of liability exposure but I had no Insurance Certificates issued and there was no increase in the potential liability on the part of State Farm. Simply put, it's extortion since I severed ties with them after 20 years of paying for Auto, motorcycle and business insurance. Not fair and absolutely ridiculous. Taylor ended up going the extra mile to try and solve this situation which he unfortunately got stuck in. I'll give Taylor a huge thumbs up for trying to fix the situation. It's unfortunate that State Farm is so FUBAR. Thanks for the help Taylor but the situation still isn't totally resolved."
